Living off of fast food and microwave meals is not only unhealthy, but you physically feel like crap after just a few days. Unless you want to spend a ton of money every month you need to have basic cooking skills. You say you’re not a good cook? Well thats fine, basic recipes like the one below will improve your cooking skills.

How to make:

Velveeta Chicken Broccoli & Rice

The Ingredients

1. 1lb of boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes.

2. 14 1/2oz can of chicken broth

3. 2 cups of minute rice

4. 1/2lb of Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes.

5. 1 package of 10oz frozen chopped broccoli, thawed.

Make It

cook and stir in a large non-stick skillet on medium high heat for 5min, or until done.
Stir in broth. Bring to boil.
Add rice, Velveeta cheese and broccoli; cove. Remove from heat. Let it stand for 10 minutes
Stir until the Velveeta cheese is completely melted.

Note: if you use frozen broccoli it will taste very water down. Using fresh veggies is always your best bet, but it’s always a bit more expensive.
