Ahh… the mystery leftovers that lurk in every fridge across America. No one knows their exact age, but touching the container it’s in is totally 100% more nasty than leaving it in there.

Chinese Food: If you put it in a tupperware/gladware container it should be good for about 2 to 3 days. Store it incorrectly and you’ll wind with the taste of everything else in your fridge.

Cooked Meats/Chicken: If wrapped in foil and placed in your refrigerator it should be good for anywhere between 4 and 5 days. Meats if frozen and stored properly will be good for about 4 months.

Pizza: A staple of apartment dwellers. Stick it one some foil, and it will last 4 – 5 days. It’ll keep in a freezer for about 3 months, but seriously who freezes a cooked piece of pizza?

Rice: Stored in a plastic container rice will last about 3 days at most.
Tip: rice will explode if you put it in the microwave. Toss the rice into a strainer and run hot water over the rice till its nice and warm.

Soups n’ Stew: Pack it in a plastic container, and store it in your freezer for the 3 to 4 months.

Subs: They’re good for a couple days as long they don’t have mayo on them. Unless of course you love mayo pickled subs.
