While browsing for your apartment don’t forget about laundry. Despite it being late 2009 some apartments still have no washer and dryer on site for tenants. Typically that is more common with low-cost flats. As where in an apartment building they almost always have washers and driers on site. Now a days it’s becoming more and more common to have a washer and dryer in your unit.
1. No washer/dryer = Cheapest Rental.
2. Washer/dryer on site = Average Rental price.
3. Washer/dryer in unit = Most expensive Rent.
The more you pay for rent the more amenities you should receive. Unless you REALLY REALLY like the place there is no excuse for overpaying. Bottom line, you need to include amenities when you compare apartments.
An apartment checklist isn’t just limited to physical items you want in your apartment. Make a mental note of things it’d be inappropriate to write down. If you’re caught in a bind you be out of luck. Be cheerful, even if it hurts.
