Depending on your university you may be supplied with clean linens once a week or you’ll be expected to provide your own. For those of you lucky gents who have to drop money on bedding we’ve got a couple things you should consider. First off, depending on your dormitory’s age it may be a little bit crusty and dirty, so you’ll want to avoid lightly colored bedding as it will get dirtier quicker. You’re also going to want to buy climate appropriate bedding. Because if you’re going to school where it’s cold you should expect your dorm to be poorly insolated, and it’s better be a little warm in fall and spring than freezing in the winter. Besides, most dorms close for summer classes, and you’ll be back home for the real hot months anyways.

Always buy hypoallergenic pillows and linens for dorms because dawn(feather) allergies are pretty common, and people with those allergies can break out into rash without even touching the pillow or whatever.
